World Stars Football Match, Friendly with the Champions of the Formula 1
Spotlights on 23 May 2017 on the Louis II stadium in Monte Carlo for the traditional World Stars Football Match, the soccer friendly now in its 25th edition which will once again see the National Piloti and the Prince's Star Team For the Children opposing each other. Albert II.
The proceeds from the match will be used to promote projects in support of disadvantaged children around the world.
Pilot Vito Popolizio will support the charity event with a double participation.
Its Safe Driving School, engaged for over 15 years in teaching safe and ecological driving techniques, will sponsor the event.
Veteran of the team - with 20 appearances in official matches - Vito Popolizio will be on the field with the team of drivers, along with many motorsport champions including two-time Formula One world champion Mika Hakkinen, Felipe Massa of Williams Martini Racing, the Mexican Sergio Perez, Australian Daniel Ricciardo, Toro Rosso duo Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat, former Ferrari driver Giancarlo Fisichella, eight-time motocross world champion Tony Cairoli and ACI Milan president and RAI commentator Ivan Capelli. Great competition, lots of entertainment, charity and guaranteed emotions to "warm up the engines" in view of the 75th Grand Prix of
Formula One, which will take place in the same week.
